Hi! 

My name is Mela Melak,  and I am based in Europe, working everywhere.
My last movie, „A Real Pain” (directed by Jesse Eisenberg), took part in the U.S. Competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2024. 

One of my previous projects, a French-Polish documentary, KUBRICK BY KUBRICK (dir. Gregory Monro), won an international Emmy. 
I was also a production designer in Poland on Claire Denis’s  HIGH  LIFE, starring Juliette Binoche and Robert Pattinson.

Working internationally, I developed projects in Malta, Germany, the Czech Republic, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, UAE, and South Africa.
In 2021, I cooperated with Genomedia in Dubai as a creative producer on the studio’s original series and co-productions.

I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Photography in 2011.
